Boing Boing on Harlan Ellison's claims about The Road and plagiarism

There’s a great little slap in the face at the end of Rob Beschizza’s post:

Ellison’s actually done the world a favor here. I love his work, and like many SF readers feel vindication in the modern appreciation of his literary merits. But his new comparison finally cleared something up for me: just how differently a good writer and a great one express similar ideas.

Amen to that.

In which Thom and Michael suggest that you only listen to the second half of this podcast, which is considerably better than the first. Not to say that the first is dull… but it is.
