Ze Frank on outsourcing his joke writing. A success, I think you’ll agree. (via Laughing Squid)
This reminds me of the spectacular idea I had a few months on how to become rich beyond my wildest dreams*. First, take your job, then outsource it somewhere cheaper. Use the pay from that job to pay for the outsourcing, then go and get another job. You can then proceed to outsource this job. Essentially, you’ll end up with a situation in which you’re paying a load of people in a developing country to do some jobs, but you’ll be paying them way under the market rate in your country. You can then skim off the profit and go and retire. I believe this is how capitalism works when it’s not collapsing.
*It’s probably worth noting that in my wildest dreams, I’m not particularly rich.
