Moving Pootling to Tumblr

Love WordPress though I do, I’ve come to the conclusion that, as a platform, Tumblr is going to better suit my needs. I’m in the process of moving across to Tumblr now, which is why the pootling.net address is currently (at the time of writing this post) is directing to a Godaddy holding page. However, sooner or later you should be able to get hold of all my new posts at that address.

In the meantime, you can look through the older posts here (which are going to be staying where they are) or you can see what the new blog’s going to look like at my Tumblr page.

If you’re subscribed to the feed (and I know at least a couple of you are) it should have updated itself already with a splurge of 20 old posts. If you got those, I assume you’ll get everything else from the new blog.

Finally, this blog, at least for the time being, is not going to have comments. It’s not that I don’t value your various wonderful opinions, I’m just slightly less convinced than I used to me that blog commenting is a particularly valuable means of communication. If you want to persuade me otherwise, then comment on this post here, or let me know on Twitter.
