Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia in Lego
From what I can garner, this is from an exhibition of World Heritage sites that is taking place in Japan. There’s a small site here. And, finally, Wow.

Not content with creating one of the best albums, a few wonderful singles and the best teddy-related single artwork of 2007, Kanye’s back at it again making what is bound to be the best tour poster featuring Star Wars of 2008. Is there nothing this man can’t do? *
It’s pretty damn good looking tour too, with Rihanna, N*E*R*D and Lupe Fiasco. link (via Pitchfork)
*Things Kanye West can’t do probably include:
This looks to be to be quite a nifty way of adapting any swastika one happens to come across. (via ffffound)
The Count strikes again, this time with a wonderful little Minotaur. The legs alone are a nifty bit of design work.
“Truth is a well-known pathological liar. It invariably turns out to be Fiction wearing a fancy frock.. Self-proclaimed Fiction, on the other hand, is entirely honest. You can tell this, because it comes right out and says, “I’m a Liar,” right there on the dust jacket.”

For those that aren’t aware, From Bricks to Bothans are having a Star Wars / Steampunk competition at the moment. There have been many great entries, but I think my favourite so far is this amazing Falcon of the Millenium, which has some rather extensive information to go with it on the Reasonably Clever webpage. I’ve been playing with a couple of Lego Mosaic kits I bought cheap after Christmas, and I was quite chuffed with this. The original is in the Tate Gallery and is one of my favourite works of art.
Any other suggestions as to art that would work well in Lego Mosaic form gratefully received!
Woah there cowboy. It’s a big surprise to me that this man’s career is relatively intact. “Either you’re on board, or you’re not on board.” Well, Tom, I’m not on board.

I doubt it would be possible to get a better picture of a kickflip than this. (via riotclitshave)
Apparantly the original of this was on Dark Roasted Blend at some point, but I can’t find a direct link for it. I found it via ffffound.
Whether it’s street art with a message you agree with is another matter, the creator of this has a point. (via Mixx)
Is there any other kind? And because of the fact that that’s my opinion, should I be getting another job? (via Mixx)
(600th post too, for those who had lost count)
